TS Screens

The TS screen is a perfect combination of a high performance profile wire screen and a strong internal pipe.It utilises a very accurate V-shaped wire welded onto supporting rods to form a jacket that is assembled onto the perforated pipe – making them ideally suited to deep wells.

The very close slot control tolerances prevent sand migration.

Most importantly, the V-shaped continuous slot opening ensures better flow performances and is specially designed for very severe conditions.

Dimensions

The table below is just a sample and many other dimensions are available. As standard, 304 stainless steel is used in the manufacture of the jacket, and J55 or K55 for the pipe base. The standard external screen open area is 21%, although other percentage open areas are available.

TDS Screens

The TDS Screen Offers

  • A double layer of high performance screen, having a very accurate V-shaped wire welded to support rods
  • A slot opening for the outer screen, which is selected to retain the formation sand, and an inner screen to retain the gravel pack.
  • A performance pipe with a variable annulus, which allows installation into very deep and specific wells, for example deviated, horizontal or depleted.
  • A variable thickness layer of calibrated sand, either with or without epoxy resin, which is contained within the annulus of two concentric screens.
  • Close control of slot tolerances, designed to prevent sand migration
  • Better screen protection due to specially designed rings that shield the filtration zone.

RS Reinforced Screens

We have developed the high strength RS screen to aid the elimination of all solid particles, either when pumped from the well or from a sedimentation pipe.

This unique screen is the result of the wealth of experience and expertise we have gained from working with our customers.

Special, unique tooling is deployed with high tech machinery to weld the wire and rods at the same time.

Selecting the right choice of screen has a significant impact on operating costs.

SPP Screens

In some deviated wells, screens may be exposed to damage due to difficult conditions underground. In order to resolve this problem, Euroslot Kdss offers a single pre-packed screen that is protected by an external perforated tube. This design enables SSP screens to withstand high pressures when removing solid particles, preventing the risk of clogging.

Slotted Liner Screens

The Euroslot Kdss slotted liner is a robust and cost-effective solution for long completions or low productivity wells. The slotted liner is manufactured with the fastest multi-spindle slotting equipment available worldwide.

Our 40x80 ft spindle milling machine produces slots in a single pass over the entire length of the joint. We can offer straight and keystone slotted variants in a wide range of slotting patterns to create the required open area.

Every joint slotted by Euroslot Kdss is deburred internally and then drift tested according to API standards. Every slot is visually inspected and cleaned of swarf. All threads and couplings are thoroughly cleaned and lubricated.

The size, grade and weight of the base-pipe is supplied according to API casing and tubing specification.
